For boys Here's a simpler version like this: black clothes and homemade wings. They can be made, for example, from fabric: sew a red satin cape, and sew or stick black circles on it. Or you can even use cardboard, coloring it and fixing the wings on your back with rubber bands. And, of course, it’s worth complementing the image with a mustache: for this, let’s take a hoop, wire and red pompoms made of thread or fabric!

There is another fast and versatile this costume: red clothes, and on it - black specks of felt or velvet. These soft tissues add warmth and comfort to your outfit. What could be cuter?

But wait, there's still time until the New Year! So to the girls who like to preen and be the center of attention, maybe we should reflect on special option? You still have time to make unsurpassed fluffy skirt, in which you will be not just a ladybug, but the real queen of all ladybugs in the world!

So, you need a thin organza or red tulle. Just look at these fabrics - they are light, translucent, just fabulous! Cut them into strips 5-7 cm wide, and choose the length at your discretion (it will be almost equal to the length of the future skirt).

The strips need to be hemmed at the top as shown in the photo. Now it remains only to string them on an elastic band with a pin. The length of the elastic should be equal to the circumference of the waist + 2 cm.

All children love holidays, especially New Year some kind of masquerade or carnival. In this case, parents are faced with a choice: buy an outfit, rent it, or try to make it on their own. So, today we will talk about how to sew a ladybug costume. There may be several varieties of it.

The easiest option

If a suit is needed for a girl, then a dark skirt should be used, if for a boy, then trousers. On top, you can wear a dark turtleneck or shirt. If desired, you can sew or knit a yellow collar and attach to clothing. An improved headband should be put on the head (it must first be sewn with antennae made of dark fabric), and a cape made of thick red matter should be put on the back. Round black dots should be sewn onto this raincoat, decorated with sparkles or tinsel along the edges. Everything, the wings are done. Actually, the ladybug costume is ready.

Complicated version

This option is more difficult, but the result is excellent. To sew a ladybug costume, you will need a meter of red mesh fabric (one and a half meters wide), two meters of hard wire, a piece of red and black thread, electrical tape, satin ribbon(red, black) half a centimeter wide, as well as a thick red ribbon (five centimeters wide), matches or a lighter, glue, pins, wooden or plastic sticks(two sushi sticks will do), hair ties, tape measure, pliers, plastic card. The ladybug costume consists of a wand, a skirt (if it's a girl) and wings.

Wings

First you need to make wings. From a red grid folded in half, cut out a large circle (two pieces for two wings, a diameter of about 20 centimeters), sew, turn inside out. Now cut a piece of wire longer than the wing circumference and insert it into the wing. Fasten the pieces remaining outside at the two wings, that is, connect the wings (wrap all sharp edges with electrical tape). Tie an elastic band or black ribbon in the center of the connection (with the help of its wings will be attached) and close the connection with a wide red ribbon. Sew the pre-cut black spots onto the wings themselves.

Skirt

New Year's costume "Ladybug" for a girl is unthinkable without a beautiful skirt. Take two pieces of mesh 20 centimeters wide and about 2 meters long and make folds on each with a plastic card (fasten the folds with a pin). When everything is folded, sew a red ribbon along the top edge on one piece of the mesh, and a black one on the other. Connect the edges of each piece into a ring so that they are tied with a ribbon. Sew the bottom edge with ribbon or braid. As a result, you will get two. Put them on one another, sew on black circles.

Magic wand

A ladybug costume may well be complemented by such an unusual wish-fulfilling accessory. Coat the stick with glue and wrap it with a red ribbon, decorate with ribbons and beads on top. Everything, the outfit is ready. It remains only to put it on with a black turtleneck and tights, and you can go to the holiday. Your child will undoubtedly be one of the most beautiful at the carnival.

Manufacturing steps:

petticoat

1. For manufacturing, we cut out straight strips of black and red tulle. The length and width depends on the wishes, height and fullness of the child. But the width must be greater than the waist circumference in order to get the finished assembly.

2. Fold each strip in half and stitch along the short side.

3. We put the details one into the other, alternating red and black colors. On the top side we connect the line.

4. We take a wide elastic band (a knitted strip folded in half) and sew it to the upper edge of the petticoat as a belt.

Skirt

1. The production is very similar to the petticoat. Cut out a straight strip of fabric.

2. We connect along the short side.

3. We hem or overcast the lower and upper sections of the skirt.

4. We sew the elastic to the upper cut, pulling in such a way as to evenly distribute the assembly over the skirt.

Finished skirt

1. We cut out 4 parts from red crepe satin, the shape depends on your wishes.

2. For the rigidity of the wings, we duplicate 2 upper parts.

3. We grind the upper and lower parts wrong side inside.

4. We grind all contours, except for the neck line, with an oblique trim.

5.Now we grind the neck, matching the wings. And so that on each side you get ties.

6. It remains to draw black circles acrylic paint, but can be glued from any material.
