Therapeutic and prophylactic toothpaste "Pulamu". Gel nail paste: what is it and what is it used for

Talismans, charms, amulets

Hello dear readers!

This review will be about my favorite nail art paints. EMPASTA by EMI. Most often I design for myself and my clients with these gel paints.

I love the brand Amy for providing great opportunities in nail design. Any fantasy can be realized. That is why I decided to purchase the entire set of bulk gel paints at once. EMPASTA.

What can be done with EMPASTA paint?

  • Various flat drawings
  • Volumetric 3D design
  • Zhostovo painting
  • Chinese painting

There are 10 colors in the set, enough of them to mix absolutely any color.

The price of the set is 4500 rubles

Place of purchase: Representative office of the brand in Barnaul.

Sales points in your city can be viewed on the official. website [link]

All colors can be bought separately, but it will be a little more expensive (500 rubles / piece).

The most versatile color is White Refined White. It is enough to buy only it, since it is spent the most.

What I like about Empasta:

  • no need to cover with a top, you can paint on an already completely made nail (covered with a top and with the sticky layer removed)
  • dense shades
  • dries in UV (2 minutes) and LED (30-60s) lamp
  • can be stored in a palette, nothing will happen to the paint
  • convenient to store in a branded box, it is on a magnet
  • you can mix colors
  • saturated colors
  • thick, does not flow, stands as it was put on the nail
  • quick intermediate drying (1 second in Ice)
  • constantly on the go
  • convenient packaging, squeeze out as much as you need, do not get dirty
  • economical consumption of paste

Minuses:

  • high price
  • not suitable for fine drawing

Since I do not know (yet) Chinese and Zhostovo painting, I draw only three-dimensional designs. I show below my work with Empasta design.

Today it is impossible to imagine a nail service without extensions. One of the most successful materials for this procedure is gel-paste for nails, which allows you to get artificial nails that are difficult to distinguish from real ones. Increasingly, clients of nail salons use the service of creating artificial nails and gel pastes are in the arsenal of many manicure masters.

In the market of materials for creating a unique design, nail gel paste has occupied its niche and allows nail service masters to draw masterpieces on the nails of clients. More recently, the choice of gel pastes in specialized stores was limited, and lovers of creating unique paintings on nails had to order them on their own from the Aliexpress website.

A wide selection of presented goods from different manufacturers complicated the task of buying via the Internet. I had to focus on the price and reviews of the presented product. At this stage, the craftsmen prefer to work with trusted manufacturers who have proven themselves in the market, because the client must receive the highest quality service.

Gel paste is a material for creating nail design, which allows you to draw the smallest details, as it has a thick consistency and does not spread over the surface of the nail. It is perfect for creating drawings with three-dimensional elements, planar design and modeling. It can be applied over a topcoat that helps create 3D patterns.

Gel nail paste is a great option for creating the most complex elements decoration, as it has the necessary viscosity, which allows it to keep the shape that the nail service master gave it before polymerization under the lamp. What is the difference between color gel and gel paint? This question is asked by many novice masters when choosing materials for their work.

And the fact that some consider them almost synonymous is not true, since there are differences between them.

The color gel must be mixed before work, because the pigment tends to settle. It is applied as a base under the modeling gel, as it is translucent and you need to polymerize several layers to achieve the same color as in a jar. Color gel is more suitable for internal design, because when performing an external one, it can flow onto the cuticle.

Gel paints do not need to be stirred before application, they are dense, pigmented and are great for creating exterior designs, murals and jackets. They can be applied directly to the surface of the filed nail, they are quite saturated when applied in one layer, but it is better to build up the color in two layers. Gel paints can be used for both internal and surface designs; when drawing a jacket, the smile line does not spread.

Gel paints come with or without a sticky layer. In the first case, you can use it to apply additional design elements, such as sequins and rhinestones, in the second case, you can apply the material to the finish, if necessary. Gel paint is available in a fairly dense consistency and sometimes it is enough to apply in one layer. It speeds up the work of the master due to its high pigmentation and the ability to reduce the number of stains.

Which company gel-paste for nails is better to choose, everyone decides for himself. Experienced modeling masters recommend buying material from well-known manufacturers, since high-quality gel nail pastes such as Amy and TNL, although more expensive, are time-tested. When ordering goods from China, you can save money, but there is a risk of buying low-quality goods that are not suitable for your creativity.

Gel paste for nail design: an overview of popular brands and prices

Nail Art Gel Paste is a high-density material, so it is easy and simple to apply. Due to its consistency and fast polymerization, it opens up the possibility for the master to create complex 3D components. If it has residual stickiness, then it is good to use it for modeling and translation techniques. Feel free to experiment, the consistency of the gel paste allows you to create the most intricate patterns and shapes.

When choosing a gel-paste for nail design, pay attention to the following characteristics:

  • It should not spread over the nail, this will help preserve the pattern before polymerization.
  • Fast curing paints are preferred.
  • Make sure the gel does not contain harmful ingredients. All components are of natural origin and contribute to the growth of healthy nails.
  • Is it possible to create gel lines of any thickness, including thin ones.
  • It should be universal, with its help you can create both a small pattern and cover the entire surface of the nail.
  • Economy of paint, will save your budget.
  • Durability of the coating for 3 weeks without additional care.
  • A beautiful, rich palette of colors that will make your fantasies come true.

The choice of gel pastes for creating nail art is quite wide. Each master chooses in a practical way the one that will be most acceptable for him in terms of price and quality. Therefore, experiment more until you find your material, but still beware of fakes.

In work it is better to use gel paste famous brands, the quality of which cannot be doubted. These are such popular manufacturers as Kodi, RuNail, and BlueSky, Irisk, and Emi brand materials have also proven themselves well. Nail paste should be well applied and have a dense consistency. You can always find out the current prices on the Internet or in stores for nail service masters.

Step-by-step guide for application in nail design:

Step 1

First of all, we prepare the nails with a French or European manicure. It is recommended to process the tip of the nail with a nail file, then when sealing its end, the gel polish will hold much better. With the help of a buff, we remove the shine from natural nails. Then we degrease their surface with a special liquid.

Step 2

We apply a primer, the so-called double-sided tape. With its help, excess moisture is removed and adhesion to its surface is improved.

Step 3

Apply a very thin layer of base coat. You can do this with a gel brush with rubbing movements, while sealing the end. When the application of the material is completed, the hand is placed in the polymerization apparatus.

Step 4

We proceed to the application of colored gel polish, which is applied in a thin layer close to the cuticle. You can paint over it in several layers, sealing the free edge of the nail. Each layer is polymerized in a LED device or a UV lamp.

Step 5

Using gel paste to create a design, draw a three-dimensional image on the surface of the nail. We draw the elements carefully and slowly, since the material becomes dense only after polymerization.

Step 6

Apply the top and seal the end of the nails. Dry it according to the instructions on the bottle. We remove the residual sticky layer with a lint-free sponge dipped in a special liquid to remove it, and apply cuticle oil to give the handles a well-groomed look.

Creating a painting with gel paste for nail design requires some skills that can be obtained by completing special courses or by watching master classes on the Internet (Chinese painting, black veil, monograms). If you wish, you can learn how to create a very beautiful manicure using gel paste, you just need to practice a little and master the technique of creating certain designs.

This procedure will be very useful for natural nails after removing artificial ones for nutrition and restoration. nail plate, and can also be used to strengthen nails, giving them a healthy gloss, for brittle, thinning and exfoliating nails that tend to break often.

How does mineral paste work?

The composition of the paste includes magnesium aluminum silicate, castor and almond oil, linoline, glycerin and beeswax - natural ingredients nourishing the nail plate. By rubbing the paste, beneficial substances penetrate deep under the upper layers of the nail, creating a water-repellent barrier, due to which the beneficial substances remain longer in the thickness of the nail plate.

Mineral paste Patrisa Nail It has a pale pink color and a very pleasant smell. It is packaged in only 5 grams, but its consumption per procedure is so small that this amount will be enough for repeated use. Moreover, its shelf life is 3 years.

Nail sealing technology

Nail sealing with mineral paste is recommended after the procedure or manicure. I’ll add on my own that if you prefer a manicure, then it’s better to do it 1-2 days before sealing, otherwise rubbing the paste into the cuticle area will be unpleasant.

For sealing you will need:

  • mineral paste
  • Nail file grinder
  • Nail file polisher
  • orange stick
  • Cuticle oil

1. From the nail plate removes natural gloss using a 220 grit grinder. Movements are made from the cuticle to the free edge. Don't forget about the end zone. For this, it is convenient to use a dome or moon - it is ideal for working at the cuticle with a semicircular side. I have this file for grinding from Patrisa Nail 220/280 grid.

2. Next on the nails with an orange stick apply a small amount of mineral paste. You can not try to impose it at the cuticle and at the side rollers, otherwise it will remain there, hiding under the skin. It is enough to distribute the paste on the middle surface of the nail and at the free edge.

3. Now using a suede natural nail polisher with a handle. We direct movements from the free edge to the cuticle, rounding at the end so as not to injure it. This is done until the paste is completely rubbed into the surface of the nail. Do not forget about sealing from the end too. After that, a healthy shine is already noticeable on the nail, small scratches disappear and the surface of the nail is leveled.

In this case, it is very convenient to use a suede polisher, but there is a small minus - it absorbs the paste a little and clogs the pores with it, and it is difficult to clean it. Therefore, the number of procedures with its use is limited.

4. After that, with the help of a polishing file, finally fix the mineral coating with paste and give extra shine to the nails. I used a three-sided polishing file from Patrisa-Nail.

5. At the end of the sealing procedure apply cuticle oil and rubbed into the cuticle area with soft massaging movements. I have Patrisa Nail, a fortified pineapple-flavored cuticle oil, here.

Result

As a result, we get a beautiful and smooth glossy surface of the nails, which nourishes and protects them. The gloss stays on the nails for up to two weeks, so the procedure is recommended to be done 2 times a month.

The entire sealing procedure is done independently in just half an hour, so it is quite suitable for home care behind the nails.

I really liked the result - I never remember such smooth and shiny natural nails! How strong they have become - time will tell, because one procedure is unlikely to be enough for this.

The entire sealing kit can be purchased from the official Patrisa-Nail store. In total, it will cost about 550 rubles.

Cuticle oil Patrisa Nail

I would like to say a few words about Patrisa Nail cuticle oil. It contains paraffin liquid, lanolin and a natural pineapple flavored fragrance - it smells very tasty! Although it is not very clear why the pineapple has a pink color :)

The volume of the bottle is 16 ml, the shelf life is 3 years. The brush at the oil has a hard artificial bristle, is long and does not bulge (except perhaps only when closed), this allows you to evenly apply oil along the edges of the nail.

I usually use the oil at least once a week after the manicure, but it feels like it will never end - the cuticle oil consumption is very small.

The products are provided for testing by the online store www.patrisa-nail.ru.
