PVA should be thick enough, preferably in a bottle with a spout, and the glue stick should be fresh. The main tools for this technique are large knitting needles with end limiter. For this work, pairs of knitting needles with a thickness of 4.5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm were used.

To make a cake from corrugated tubes, you will need a base frame. You can use a ready-made cardboard box, or you can make it yourself from thick paper or cardboard. Draw two circles from the same center with radii of 10 cm and 11.5 cm. Cut out along the outer line. Make teeth from the edge to the inner line.

Place the needles vertically on the stops. Grasp the bottom of the paper with your fingers. With small movements from top to bottom, tighten the paper until it is all creased on the knitting needles. You need to do this in small sections, rearranging your fingers.

To glue the tube to the bottom layer, first try it on in height. Stretch to the desired length, thickly grease the inside of the PVA tubes and press firmly to the base.

Make decorative decorations in the form of white semi-ovals. Draw a semi-oval 12 cm long and 4 cm wide on thick paper. It is better to make a template to draw 6 such figures. Glue on the other side a strip of white corrugated paper. Glue only with a glue stick.

Cut out 6 blanks.

Twist 6 double white tubes from 13x25 cm rectangles on 6 mm needles. Bend the tube, slightly open in the middle and flatten the ends.

Glue the tube along the edge of the workpiece. Make 6 parts.

Glue the pieces by slightly bending them along the top edge.

Twist double white tubules on 8 mm needles. Paste them over the upper plane inside out. Make two concentric circles.

but make roses. To do this, you need single corrugated tubes. Take a strip (along the corrugation lines) 7 × 25-30 cm. Lubricate the edge with an adhesive pencil. Put the needle on the opposite side. Roll the paper onto the needle.

Place the needle vertically, put your fingers on the gluing points (so that the seam does not diverge. Squeeze the paper a little from top to bottom.

Squeeze all the paper to the end.

Remove the single corrugated tube from the knitting needle.

To make a rose, flatten the end of the tube, grease with PVA glue and twist the spiral, trying to keep the shape of the tube.

Flatten the tip again and glue inside.

It turned out a spiral rose.

Just like the bottom do upper layer cake. First, draw two circles with radii of 5 cm and 6.5 cm. Make teeth. Cut out a 6 x 31.5 cm side edge tape (don't forget the gluing allowance). Glue the base. Wind the tubes from rectangles 13 × 25 cm. Take thinner knitting needles - 6 mm. Cut each tube in half so that their height is 6 cm. Glue the side edges.

Twist two double green tubes and a few single green tubes. Glue double tubes on top along the edges, then spirally glue single tubes until you fill the entire plane.

Glue the top layer to the middle of the bottom layer. Fill the remaining gap with double tubes on 6 mm needles.

To make a lily, twist three double tubes from 12x25 cm strips on 4.5 mm needles. Cut each in half. Stretch to 7 cm. Slightly turn from the center.

Flatten the ends on the right vertically, and on the left horizontally.

Glue the right ends, and glue the left ends overlapping each other.

Bend the petal by wrapping it around your finger. Trim the tip to make it pointed. Make 6 petals.

For stamens, take strips 3.5 × 9 cm. Wind a single tube onto a 4.5 cm needle. Squeeze a small area.

Remove the tube and twist the remaining, uncompressed part into a flagellum. Make some stamens.

Glue a bunch of stamens, glue three petals around it, and then three more. Outside, the petals can be pasted over with a thin strip of corrugated paper. Got a flower.
