As my most patient and assiduous readers remember, I have not used permanent paint for many, many (very many!) Years. About eight years ago, I often dyed my hair with Wella tint foam, which was completely washed off after a few “headwashes”; despite the budget and availability, the foam was good and met all my requirements - however, for some reason it was discontinued, and quite a long time ago. Oddly enough, I could not find a replacement for her for several years: most brands have ammonia-free tone-on-tone paints, but they are harder than what I needed and are not completely washed off. But I couldn’t find something completely unstable and soft anywhere - neither in professional brands, nor in the mass market. It's strange - are there really so few women who want to often change color according to their mood and at the same time protect their hair from unnecessary harmful effects?

And just last winter, I finally found what I needed from Schwarzkopf Professional: this is the Igora Expert Mousse tint mousse from their Igora line of professional paints. The mousse is completely washed out over time, and although it does not lighten, it can color it in red or dark tones - although it would be more correct to say “darker than your original hair color” here; that is, blondes can afford to make almost any shade.

You can use Igora Expert Mousse in different ways: combine it with permanent paint when tinting the roots (for this, paint is applied to the roots, and mousse of a suitable shade is applied to the bulk of the hair), slightly refresh your color and give them shine (for this, the mousse is aged 3-5 minutes) well, just tint (for this, the exposure time increases to 15-20 minutes). I used the last option. Igora Expert Mousse covers the first gray hair (up to 20% of the total hair volume, as it is said - although I have little idea how to calculate these percentages).

Mousses have a significant disadvantage (for the average consumer): the shades are indicated simply by numbers, without even approximate pictures or human names like “honey blond in a black shoe". Moreover, the numbering system is intended for professional hairdressers, and it’s not only impossible for me personally to figure it out without a bottle - there’s no chance with a bottle either. Fortunately, a specialist picked them up for me, but it didn’t get much easier: all the cans looked the same, and I didn’t have a decoding of what number meant what. But, as you know, Google almighty saves even not in such situations: I found just such a visual layout by shades, downloaded it for myself and looked there every time:

As you can see, I had a couple of shades of blond, black and two reddish-red on my hands. Now I am tormented by the desire to try also 8-77, just a great option for the sunny season; If possible, I will add it to the review later.

The application of Igora Expert Mousse, unlike the numbering system, is very simple and does not require special skills: just shake the can, squeeze the mousse out of it and apply it to washed, towel-dried hair. Leave on the hair for the time you need and rinse your hair until the water runs clear. Actually, this “becomes clean” has always been a mystery to me: I have not yet come across tint products with which, after the first staining, it was possible to achieve clean water. She's still ugly! However, from the terry turban with which I dry my hair, all this is washed off without problems. I recommend using gloves: you will wash your fingers later, but your nails are at risk of getting a permanent manicure.

Now let's move on to shades. Of course, it should be borne in mind that any tint products are very dependent on the original color: you can only get something similar with a hair color similar to mine.

I started with dark blond 5-5; he slightly darkened my hair, but in such a way that only I and my mother noticed the difference. Well, the hair became more shiny, plus gray hairs were painted over.

The next shade was 3-0, conditionally black - my original hair color is still too light for me to become a really burning brunette, but I liked the result, and even very much:

I went with 4-68 next, which looked like a dark blond with copper undertones on the shade chart. So it, in general, turned out to be:

Personally, I didn’t fall in love with myself with this color, so I used shade 7-65 pretty soon after the previous one: it removed the redhead, but in general, the hair with it looked a little more “red” than if I had applied my shade completely Here's what it looked like right after painting:

However, in the second version of the general make-up, it is already much clearer; in fact, this is my native shade, it makes sense to apply it only for shine and conditioning effect.

But then, when it began to wash off, the color shifted to copper. In yesterday's clutch, both last makeups are with this shade, and you can clearly see how “reddened” the hair is.

And yet, I myself don’t like redheads, especially if they are dark red options, so literally three days ago, tired of waiting, I toned my hair on top with a shade of 3-0, and now I’m dark and happy again.

Of course, you probably want to know how quickly the mousse is washed out, but it’s better not to focus on me in this matter: it stays on me exactly until the next shampooing, and when I made up my friend with it, he survived 2-3 washes. Plus, you understand that everyone's shampoos are also different, and if you use masks / conditioners, then this gives an extra rinse. On me, light brown shades and 3-0 lasted up to about six applications of shampoo (with a mask), redheads lasted longer, somewhere up to eight (the latter, however, I painted over without waiting).

Summing up, I want to note that the condition of the hair has not worsened one iota, so I see no reason to refuse further use of mousses.

I hope that it turned out more or less informative; In general, of course, the difference in lighting makes it very difficult to evaluate the result. However, I deliberately stretched the color in Photoshop so that everywhere the hair is conveyed as reliably as possible, although the skin color because of this in some places went into less believable colors.
